Unity CEO, John Riccitiello, has resigned after a controversial pricing change proposal that upset developers and gamers. The proposal for studios to be charged for each game installation led to threats and public outrage. Unity subsequently revoked the plan and apologized. Riccitiello declared he was "truly humbled" by reactions. Interim CEO James Whitehurst has taken over following Riccitiello's retirement.
