Forza Horizon games are known for their open-world environments. Each game in the series has its own map and the players can explore the virtual landscapes based on the real world. In this article, we’ll compare the maps of Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5.

Forza Horizon 4: Explore the Beauty of Great Britain

Forza Horizon 4 was released in 2018. The game is set in Great Britain, a fictionalized version, of course. The map contains diverse environments, from the bustling streets of Edinburg to the lush countryside of Cotswolds. The visuals are stunning, detailed, and accurate.

The game not only takes you through the diverse landscape but also through different seasons. The changing of seasons is concurrent with the changing of landscape.  This provides different driving conditions, which is not only challenging but also fun and frolic experiences. Forza Horizon 5: Explore the Beauty of Mexico

Playground Games released Forza Horizon 5 in 2021. This time they set the game in Mexico, and they have done it so well that you can experience Mexico’s diverse landscapes, from vibrant cities to dense jungles and arid deserts.

The most unique feature of this game is the sudden changes in the weather that converts dusty road into mud pits thus giving you a better racing experience. Forza Horizon 5 map also has a day and night cycle that makes the virtual world so real. This is the biggest map in all games in the Forza Horizon series, therefore, the game becomes more exciting.

Conclusion

Even though the Forza Horizon 5 map is bigger than its predecessor games including Forza Horizon 4, it might not be appropriate to compare these maps as both offer unique landscapes and unique experiences. Depiction of Great Britain in Forza Horizon 4 and Mexico in Forza Horizon 5 both are visual spectacles that give you an adrenaline rush.

  1. I have played both Forza Horizon 4 and 5, they are both great video games. To the best of my knowledge, Forza Horizon is going to be the best racing game on Xbox console as far as I’m concerned. But when it comes to choosing my favourite between them, Forza Horizon 5 beat it’s 4th edition better, so that’s going to be my best in the series.

  3. It’s how realistic those maps in Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5 that is very impressive. Everything was thrown at the map design which made it came out perfectly good. I had fun driving through each one of them when I played both of the games.
