So far, nothing has been fully confirmed but many are expecting Destiny 2: The Final Shape to be on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S and PC. This will see it follow in the footsteps of previous expansions which saw them all release on these platforms.

What new Supers will we be seeing in The Final Shape?

Bungie has confirmed that they will be introducing three new Light Supers to the game. This will be one for each class.

The Warlock Super: This Super will be a call-back to Radiance from Destiny 1 and will be part of the Solar subclass. Using this Super in game will allow you to burn down enemies with a new aspect that functions quite similar to an Arc Soul, buff allies, and deal a massive amount of damage through a ranged melee ability. At the moment, this is all we know about this Super and the exact ability of the Super is currently unknown.

The Hunter Super: This Super is part of the Arc subclass and is all based around speed. When using this Super, the Hunter will be able to throw an Arc Knife and will be teleported to a location. Once the player has teleported to the location, Arc damage which will be like a spinning top will be unleashed and will destroy all enemies within the area. This knife will have the ability to be used three times.

The Titan Super: This Super is called Twilight Arsenal and is part of the Void Subclass. This Super allows players to use an axe which can consistently be thrown at enemies and then picked up. Once the axe is thrown it will reciprocate all the abilities that are known to the Void subclass including volatile rounds.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape will take place inside the Traveler. This will be a brand new destination which is introduced with the release of The Final Shape. We will not see the story end with the campaign. So how will the story end you may be asking? It would seem that the ultimate story will end with the raid, this is something developers brought in as they wanted to make it a complete experience.

Something to also mention that will come in helpful for those who play the new expansion is that inside the Traveler, the inner parts will be similar to what players have experienced so far through other expansions and stories. This will be because the Traveler will be recreating environments from the player’s previous experiences.
