Facebook

I was spending waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on Facebook so I have done THE decent thing and deleted my account. I saw something on Twitter which seemed appropriate:

Twitter makes me like people I’ve never met and Facebook makes me hate people I know in real life.

I’ve complained recently about T and his odd behaviour. Today was just more of the same. The conversation, if you can call it that:

T: Well, today will be interesting.
Me: Why, what’s up?
T: Soz, I can’t say.

SO WHY PUT IT ON FACEBOOK!?

Then his GF, tonight (words to the effect of):

L: Glad today is over and everything is okay.
Someone else: ‘A’ told me all about it. Glad you’re all okay.

Hrmph, so you can tell someone else but you can’t tell me? Oh, I get it.

Jealously? Sour grapes? Maybe, but to be honest I am only there to help if I am needed. I actually don’t want to know. If you want to keep something to yourself then keep it to yourself. That’s totally cool. But don’t advertise that in public and expect people not to ask questions (out of concern, not nosiness).

  1. I hate when people put up shit like that and blow you off when you act concerned.

    Dickheads.

And I hate when people block me from commenting but I can still see their status updates. The fuck?

Oh, I could rant all night about Facebook, but this is your blog. 🙂
