Resident Evil 4 Remake Making Something Great Greater!

The original Resident Evil 4 was and still is a great game, many felt it was odd that Capcom would decide to remake a game that was already amazing and held up reasonably well. Thankfully, this was not just a cash grab as the Resident Evil 4 Remake is fantastic stuff indeed.

Just like the Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remakes. Resident Evil 4 Remake takes what was already fantastic and makes it even better. The story has more depth to it this time around, is better voice acted and thanks to the amazing visuals feels like you are in the middle of an action/horror movie. The presentation, especially on PlayStation 5 is incredible!

However, for as good as the Resident Evil 4 Remake looks, it is the gameplay that really shows that Capcom was right to give this the remake treatment. The original game still plays fine, however, this has modernized it. Leon controls amazingly well, he moves smoothly, and aiming and shooting feels great.

Capcom has managed to hit all the high notes from the original game such as the village, the castle, and the island. However, other parts have been improved and fleshed out such as the Chief of the Village and the character of Luis. Not to mention, the Ashley sections here are much better.

Yes, the original Resident Evil 4 is still a great game, but there is no denying that the Resident Evil 4 Remake is even better. Now if only Capcom would give Resident Evi: Code Veronica the remake treatment!

  1. Resident Evil 4 was my favourite game on Playstation 2. I even still played it once in a while on the PS2 console last year. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get into playing Resident Evil 4 Remake which sucks for me but it’s not to be worried about because I have a plan to start playing it at least by December this year 2023 or first thing in January 2024. Everything that I heard so far about the Remake have positive, so I’m all pumped up for the game.
