If you follow the latest releases from Apple, you will know that the iPhone 15 was released just last week on September 12th, 2023.
From there, we have heard so much news about what the new iPhone will have but you will be surprised to hear that the iPhone 15 will be capable of playing Triple-A games on their phones.
I know, right now you may be thinking “Triple-A games on iPhone, it can’t be” but it is very much true and has now been made a reality.
Last week’s Apple Keynote, revealed two new iPhones, the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max and they were seen running games such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Village, and even Death Stranding.
So, how is this all possible for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max to be able to run such big games you may be wondering?
It is all being made possible by the new GPU which is being found within its cutting-edge A17 Pro silicon. The processor is the first 3nm processor to hit a mainstream consumer device.
What does this mean for game developers though? Will it make it tougher for them to create games for the iPhone 15 devices that are capable of handling games like this?
You would think so but it seems that if they are able to develop a game for the Mac, porting Mac versions of the game to iPhone will be easy. This is due to them using the ecosystem that delivered Resident Evil Village on Mac.
The question is now just how well the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will hold up against higher-end games being ported over from Mac to the iPhone. Whilst we have seen some games, it does make us wonder how newer games will run when it comes to seeing those on iPhone.
